Christmas = The act of LOVE

I thought that the Christmas holidays were joy-filled due to planning and having the "perfect" holidays with family and friends. But only after i need to be hospitalize during this Christmas I found that the holidays purest joy is only found in God.

Christmas isn't primarily about spending time with loved ones, decorating our trees and homes, singing Christmas carols, baking, or watching Christmas specials on TV...Christmas in the purest form is about our Savior who left the glory of Heaven so that He could become human to save our very souls...just so He could have an exclusive, intimate relationship with us!

To leave all of the glory and adoration of Heaven—sheer perfection, joy, and wholeness with 24/7 adoration of angels—to create a special holiday called Christmas, so we could freely come to Him and have access to a close relationship with Him, completely blows my mind! This causes me to want to focus on the true Christmas story, the beautiful Christmas story that offers incredible hope! And it causes me to want to love and encourage others in the ways He loves and encourages me.

When I think of the true meaning of Christmas, it beckons me to spend the Christmas season seeking after God's heart, celebrating the joy that is available through Him, and being more aware of who I can share His love to and with and try to remember to lovingly give to others during the holidays, through offering around me the gifts of love, encouragement, special memories, and chocolates♡

I'm preparing these sweet gifts to the nurses in my hospital, it's a little plastic bag filled with chocolates, christmas messages and a bundle of JOY.
I gave one already to one of the nurse that not gonna be around in christmas day and she is so much happy and touched, even tho for me it's just a small gift, but looking at her reaction i'm realize how much important to show others love even from a small action like this, it could means alot for them. And i'm thanksfull that GOD bless me so much that i could bless another peoples around me even in my limitation.

MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!

PS: Special thanks to IVY and JADE who helped me preparing these gifts.

Vintage Picnic TABI X AIRI

So happy today finally i could completed one of my bucket list, it's always been my dream to have a proper picnic with a theme like this,
Thanks to Ayie (airi) who helped me to achieved that^^
I guess this is what it called true FRIEND.

Sunday 20 September 2015 which is actually just last night, we suddenly came up with the idea to do a picnic in Ohori Park, it actually started when we were talking about blogging at the Seattle Best Coffee in Hakata last night after church, and my friend Ayie wanted to start her own blog by asking my help as she know that i kinda into a blog, so we planned that the day after she gonna come over my apartment to make it easier for me to teach her about blogging., and as a thankful gift she wanted to bring me meal to eat in my apartment that day, but i told her that i would love to have sweets, snacks or sandwhich instead, which then bring us to the idea of picnic.

it was such a random plan yet fun, so later that night i end up staying late thinking of the theme i wanted for our picnic, and did a lot of research in google about picnic themes, until i decided that i want a vintage picnic.

for me, to create a vintage look is pretty easy because i have my room full of vintage decoration, and in order to make our vintage picnic happen, i just need to bring some stuff from my room to the outside, lol.
and luckily my apartment is pretty close to the Ohori Park, we just need to cross the street, so we didn't have much problem to transfer those stuff to the location by our self without any rides, like literally just by our hands... or any body parts that could, which is a little bit embarrassing walking in front of all the peoples in the park by being attached of all these things in our body, hahaha. glad we made it tho.

We spent like 3 hours chillin and listening music while we enjoying our lunch with some sandwich, onigiri bento, mochi dango, strawberry roll cake, pocky, chips, almond and other snacks that we bought from LAWSON, it's funny how we choose all the food/snack that have a cute packaging, and we actually bought a little bit too much for just the two of us, we couldn't eat everything and end up leaving some food left unopened.

so i think until here my blog today, i just want to say that it was soooo much fun to explore your creativity and made all your imagination happen, so even tho it just came from a small idea, don't be hesitate and lazy and let your brilliant idea just stuck in your deepest brain storage, sometimes you just need to go out from your comfort zone.

Thankyou For Reading.

Alice in Baysideland

Hello guys! it's been a long time i didn't write a post to this blog, and several days ago i found an interesting restaurant in Hakata Bayside Place when i was there spending time with my husband, so we were looking a place for dinner, i saw this restaurant named "Big Umbrella"
a restaurant with Alice in Wonderland as a motif including both the interior decoration and the dish, pretty interesting (for me at least). So we decided to eat there, well, i decided.... and begging (forced) my husband to enter the restaurant with me, lol.
Once i open the front door that locate in the 1st floor (by the way the main restaurant hall is placed in the entire second floor of that building and they use the 1st floor just for the entrance, because the most area of the 1st floor are used by another restaurant), back to the topic a big round stairs welcoming me right in front of the entrance door, just like a castle that usually shown in the fairy tale book, it brings me magical feeling while i walking up the stairs step by step, and when i finally reach the top in the 2nd floor, there's a lamp that hanging in the center of the ceiling and it designed with a hundred of playing cards which is a signature of Alice in Wonderland.

From here i was getting more and more excited to enter the main hall. When i arrived in the second floor, a bright and colorful hallway welcoming me with a single carousel as an interior, also there's couples of cute chair, and a rack that full with collection of Alice in Wonderland stuff.
In the edge of the hallway there is a reception area where a girl standing waiting for a guest to come, i am surprise because the girl is dressing in Alice costume and then she cheerfully greet us right after she saw me and my husband, apparently the girl is in charge both as the receptionist and waitress.

hey it's Alice!!

Alice lead the way for us to the the main hall, and i admit it that i'm surprise to see how big, spacious and colorful the main hall they have there, it's so rich of the atmosphere of what you called Wonderland, i really feel like i'm inside the Queen of Heart dining hall, i'm totally impressed.

But wait, the story is not end there, after we seated, Alice handing over the menu to us

then i saw those picture of fancy foods and sweets they have, i wanted to try everything because all of them is looks so yummy.
Here's pictures of the menu for your reference:

The menu is all written in Japanese, i know...
well this is japan, so you gonna need to learn to read the japanese ^^
anyway, like i said before, those pictures in the menu is looks so yummy, but me and husband decided to order the course menu called 'Alice Share Course' (for 2 person) which contain appetizer, main dish, dessert, and drink.
Here are the pictures of the food that being served for us:

Salad as appetizer

Sweet treats
i didn't take picture of the main dish because me and my husband was too hungry to wait, lol.
and if you could notice, the carrots in the salad was shaped like this -->
what a cute detail of this wonderland restaurant, not to mention the taste of all the food i had tried is surprisingly delicious, seriously it's even more than i expected!.
After all, i'm so satisfied with everything in this restaurant, in the scale of 10 to 100 i will give this restaurant 99, so for you who's by chance visiting Fukuoka i totally recommend you to give a visit to this restaurant, and if you a fan of Alice in Wonderland like me, i say you definitely need to come here. lol
